Billings Behavior Therapy Team

  • Krystin Hussain, BCBA

Hello, my name is Krystin Hussain and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I graduated from Florida Institute of Technology in 2018 with my dual master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Organizational Behavior Management. I first found my love of ABA working with a friend of the family diagnosed with autism.

I grew up in Florida and moved to Montana in 2021 with my husband and we currently have three dogs and two cats. We love traveling, hiking, and camping in our spare time in addition to cooking and baking new recipes. I also play the violin with a community orchestra in Billings.

ABA is a significant part of my life, even outside of the workplace. As my husband and I are both behavior analysts, we find great joy in applying ABA in all aspects of our lives and sharing our knowledge with others.

  • Ailana Williams, BCBA

Hi There! My name is Ailana Williams and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I attended undergraduate school at the University of Washington and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and went to Arizona State University for graduate school where I earned my Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Growing up I lived in Washington state. After graduating from UW in 2016 I jet set off to Hawaii, where I resided for 6 beautiful years until I returned to the mainland and moved to Montana in 2023. I love farmers markets, live music, and TRAVELING (while Hawaii has a special place in my heart, my favorite destination thus far is Japan).

I think children are our greatest teachers and that neurodivergent voices are meant to be heard. All behavior is communication, so I am excited to get chatting!

  • Reba Borden, BCBA

Hello! My name is Reba and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I graduated from Montana State University Billings in 2024 with my Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Prior to this, I was a licensed Special Education Teacher for five years. I worked in a private day program setting for 3 years and the public school setting for 2 years with children and adolescents with Autism, ADHD, and emotional/behavioral disorders. I realized quickly I was passionate about behavior and began pursuing becoming a BCBA.

I grew up in Cody, Wyoming and taught for four years in Wyoming, before moving back to Billings after meeting my husband. We are expecting our first baby in November 2024 and ecstatic to be parents. In my free-time I love the outdoors, reading, yoga, gardening, baking sourdough, and thrifting.

I think children are a gift and am so happy to be a part of their journey!

  • Jacqueline Clos, RBT

Hello, I'm Jacqueline Clos, and I'm proud to be a Registered Behavior Technician. My journey into this field began when I obtained my RBT certification in 2022. However, my fascination with autism and its treatment started much earlier.

Back in 2015, I had the privilege of being a nanny to a boy with autism, which ignited my interest in the subject. Then, in 2017, I became a mother myself, and in 2020, my son was diagnosed with autism. This pivotal moment in my life prompted me to dedicate myself wholeheartedly to understanding autism so I could provide the best support for my child. This dedication led me to make a significant career shift. Initially, I earned a BA in business, but my passion for mental health issues and helping individuals overcome their challenges steered me in a different direction.

Even when I'm not officially on the clock, ABA remains an integral part of my life. The progress my son has made through ABA therapy has been nothing short of miraculous, profoundly impacting both him and our family. Witnessing these transformations has fueled my desire to extend a helping hand to other children and their families, watching them thrive and flourish just as my son has.

  • Cheyenne Gehnert, RBT

Hello, my name is Cheyenne Gehnert and I am a registered behavior technician. I am currently in my senior year at AMU pursuing a BA degree in psychology with a minor in child development. I plan on pursuing a master’s degree in psychology with a concentration in applied behavioral analysis.

I have always had an interest in Autism, but it wasn’t until I started working here that I knew this is what I wanted to do. I am so thankful to be able to work with all these amazing kiddos, and couldn’t imagine a better place to work.

I was born and raised here in Montana and have always lived in the Billings area. I had the opportunity to travel to quite a few different places, even to Europe. Iceland and Norway are the next on my list! When I am not working or studying I enjoy to visit family, play video games, or explore the outdoors. Photography and art is another one of my passions.

  • Abigail Keenan, RBT

Hello, my name is Abigail Keenan, and I am a registered behavior technician at Advanced Therapy Clinic. I have worked with individuals with autism my entire life, including my sister. I have been a caregiver for multiple individuals with autism, and I have been volunteering with my mom and sister at Eagle Mount for the last 10 summers.

Volunteering at Eagle Mount was my first introduction to working with people with disabilities and I have known ever since that working with kids is my passion.

Autism plays an enormous part of my life already, and at Advanced Therapy Clinic I am excited to expand my knowledge of autism and use it to improve the lives of children and their families.

  • Elena Black, RBT

Hello! My name is Elena Black and I am a Registered Behavior Technician. Upon graduating I knew I wanted to work with kids. I thought about many different education positions but it wasn’t until I heard of the Advanced Therapy Clinic that my interest in Applied Behavior Analysis peaked. I read more about the clinic and ABA and knew it was something I wanted to be involved in. I received my RBT certification in December 2023 and was eager to begin working.

I’ve lived in Montana since the summer of 2021 when I moved from Missouri. I love to spend time with friends and family, play games, go on outdoor adventures, and make music. I’ve always had a soft spot for kids and since beginning work at ATC it’s only grown! Getting to work with them is special and seeing their progress every day is so exciting! I am beyond grateful for the time I get to spend here!

  • Tearney Chapman, RBT

Hello, my name is Tearney Chapman and I am a registered behavior technician. I originally came from an education background working in a special education classroom. I was a one on one para for 3 years with several children who had autism. I think the bond that you create with children with autism is something really special. I have my associates degree in teacher education and plan to get my bachelors in special education then move onto my master's for ABA. I love working with children with autism because of the beautiful way their minds work. I always want to help children reach their full potential in any way I can. Coming to Advanced Therapy Clinic has been so fulfilling and being around others who have the same passion as me is incredible. I cannot wait to see what unfolds on my journey here at ATC!

I was born and raised in Colorado, my husband and I have lived in several different states but when we moved to Montana in 2016 with our 3 kids we knew that we were home. In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and 3 children. We love to be outdoors as much as possible. Boating, hiking and fishing are some of our favorite activities. I love to make homemade jam in the fall and my favorite thing to do is curl up with a good book and read next to my wood burning stove on a cold day. I am very outgoing and love being around children. I feel like I have found my village of people who are like-minded in making sure each child gets exactly what they need.

  • Allie Schmalz

My name is Allie Schmalz and I am a Registered Behavior Technician. I am currently a full-time student studying for my Bachelor's in Human Resources with a Concentration in Child and Family Services. I want to help children and families with mental and/or behavioral struggles find resources to help them become successful in their lives. I want to be an advocate for the families and children and show them they are not alone in their situations and there are people and programs out there that can and will help them.

My mom was a special education teacher at my elementary and middle school and I spent a lot of my time hanging out in her classroom with her and playing with her students. She taught the summer school program every year at Eagle Cliffs and I was lucky to get to go to work with her everyday during that time as well. Being in her classroom with her students was something I absolutely loved doing! While in high school I was a peer tutor in the special education room and was fortunate to be able to go on field trips with them and help the students at the Special Olympics every year. After I graduated, I was a Special Needs Assistant for the school district and worked as a one-on-one aid for a first grader with cerebral palsy the first year and then spent 3 years working in the Special Education classroom. Working with specials needs kiddos is just something that I feel like is in my blood and what I was born to be doing.

In my spare time, I love being with my husband and three kids and hanging out at home with all my crazy animals and friends. I have dogs, cats, a ferret and a sugar glider. I love sitting by our fire pit with everyone and the smell of burgers or hot dogs on the grill or watching the Kansas City Chiefs play! I love hanging out with my mom, brothers and having all my little nieces and nephews running around causing chaos and hearing their giggles!

I am so incredibly grateful and excited to be working at Advanced Therapy Clinic and spending my day with these kids! They never fail at putting a smile on my face and making me laugh. Spending my days with these kids is just the absolute best!

  • Shilo Klundt, RBT

I’m Shilo Klundt, a Registered Behavior Technician, who proudly resides in Montana. My journey began 14 years ago working in Youth Behavioral Health in Oregon. I helped open the first crisis children's home in Oregon. This is where my love for helping children with unique needs started.

Over the course of my career, I have gained valuable experiences working with children’s special needs, including autism, mental health and physical disabilities. While I do have experience in all of these fields, my passion lies in helping the younger generation thrive. I walk through life with them, helping guide them to a brighter future that they otherwise might have felt was impossible. I am committed to continuing my education and furthering my ability to help youth attain their life goals

Outside of work, you can find me curled up with a cup of coffee and a good book. Or spending time outside with my dogs and loving husband.

I look forward to working with you!

  • Katlyn Bennett, RBT

Hi there! After spending the past decade as a massage therapist and esthetician, I’m excited to be stepping into a new chapter as an RBT. I’m new to Montana, having recently moved from Iowa, where my partner and I are lovingly updating his grandparents' 1910 bungalow. I believe in the power of ABA to create meaningful, positive changes for families navigating the world around them. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a field that provides proven, effective strategies to help others thrive.

When I’m not working, I’m usually getting lost in my latest thriller or historical fiction read or decorating my home—I’m a true homebody at heart and love all things cozy! I love creating an atmosphere that feels warm and welcoming and I bring that same spirit into my work as an RBT, where I strive to create a supportive and comfortable environment for the individuals and families I work with.
